Fit Guide — Waist Size Range
The belt is designed to fit waists between 60 cm and 120 cm (24"–47"). The fully adjustable strap lets you dial in a snug, secure fit regardless of layering — whether you're wearing a light tee or a winter jacket. To find your size, measure around the narrowest part of your waist and adjust the belt until it sits flat against your hip bones.
Load & Use Guidance
Attach the waist belt any time your pack weighs 8 kg (18 lb) or more — this is where it makes the biggest difference, transferring load from your shoulders to your hips and core. For lighter day trips under 8 kg, it's optional but still useful on uneven terrain or long flat stretches where hip stability helps. When the belt is clipped, tighten the shoulder straps first, then cinch the belt until the pack feels anchored — you should be able to slip two fingers underneath comfortably.

The belt is available in two colorways matched precisely to the Adventure Backpack 30l palette:

Midnight Green — pairs with the Midnight Green 30l for a seamless, tonal look. The muted, earthy tone also works as a contrast accent on the Ocean Blue pack if you prefer a mixed setup.

What to Expect During Movement
Once properly adjusted, the belt moves with you rather than against you. On trails and technical terrain, the padded wings flex at your hips so you won't feel the hard buckle dig in during side-to-side movement. On longer carries, expect the belt to hold its position without riding up — the anchor stitching on the pack attachment point prevents vertical slip. After stops, a quick tug on both side adjusters is all you need to re-snug the fit.
